Position Title: Senior Digital Marketing Strategist
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Director / Head of Marketing
Digital Marketing Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, engage with target audiences, drive traffic, and generate leads or sales. Strategies should encompass SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and online advertising.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals. Collaborate closely with other departments (such as sales, product development, and IT) to ensure marketing strategies align with company objectives and product launches.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the digital landscape. Use this information to inform strategy development and adjustments.
Content Strategy: Oversee the development of a content strategy that supports SEO goals, engages the target audience, and drives conversions. Ensure content is consistent with the brand voice, style, and messaging.
Digital Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring they meet objectives and budget parameters. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze performance across all digital marketing channels. Provide regular reports to senior management with insights, achievements, and recommendations for improvement.
Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing tools, platforms, and trends. Recommend and implement innovative strategies and technologies to maintain the company's competitive edge.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget. Allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies. Experience in the IT or technology sector is highly preferred.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of digital marketing professionals.
Expertise in Digital Marketing Tools and Platforms: Extensive knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning abilities, with the skill to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and create comprehensive marketing strategies.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Creativity: Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies that differentiate the company and engage target audiences.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, strategies, and results to stakeholders at all levels.
